Today is Easter Saturday. It's the time between--between the end of Jesus' life (as it seemed) and the resurrection. It had to be a time of confusion, frustration, disappointment.
Maybe your life is in the time between right now. Your dreams seem dead. That relationship is gone. The job can't be found. It looks like death abounds, and every hope has died.
But on Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead. In order for him to defeat death, he had to die. There could be no resurrection without a Good Friday.
Hang in there during the time between. There is a resurrection.
"I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his suffering, becoming like him in his death and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead." -- Paul (Philippians 3:10-11)
